Wellness in Nature

Sustainability can be tied to whole wellness for the individual, a shared community, and our environment. This program series honors the legacy of board member Bob Kibler, who seeks to share his lived experience to help others find inspiration and healing through nature.

Bedford Memorial Hospital

The monthly 2026 program series is generously sponsored by our local health system, Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital. Each program visits a nature-based place in Bedford County.

Wednesday 6/24 at 6pm - Wellness in Nature - Spiritual Health at Peaksville Place exploring Sounds & Silence with a meditation from Center for Earth-Based Healing
Date in July TBD - Wellness in Nature - Environmental Health at Claytor Nature Center with a rain barrel workshop partnered with Bedford Regional Water Authority
