Outreach Programs for Solstices & Equinoxes at Belk Observatory
Astronomy Outreach at the Belk Observatory is a priority for our programmatic efforts to honor our board member and the founding Belk Director, Dr. Neal Sumerlin's legacy.
Partnering with the current Director of Belk Astronomical Observatory, with collaboration with the Blue Ridge Astronomy Club, we will host quarterly outreach programs occurring around the timing of the solstices and equinoxes, and occasional other astronomical events.
